Learn new skills to rev up your practice and optimize your neurobiology!

Explore the science underlying ethical engagement, breathing practices, yoga posture practice, and the various stages of yogic meditation, as well as the positive interpersonal neurobiologic effects of practicing in community. Examine the yoga and neurobiology research and  learn how this research can help you optimize your practice.

In this workshop you will:

  • Explore the neurobiologic mechanisms of yoga practices
  • Understand how specific practices elicit structural and functional brain changes.
  • Experience practices which help you leverage your spiritual assets
  • Integrate the 8 limbed system to catalyze its benefits
  • Learn specific practices to foster brain changes and improve your focus, attention, creativity and happiness!

This workshop will include two yoga practices each day, plus lectures, discussions, and experiential exercises. All abilities are welcome. The weekend will also include Subtle® Yoga signatures: supportive community, kirtan and restorative practices. This is a great opportunity not only to learn about the cutting edge science behind yoga, but also to improve your teaching skills, experience community with like-minded people, and earn 12 Yoga Alliance CEUs.
