Why this program is unique
The Subtle Yoga RYT500 Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training Program is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the ancient art-science of yoga. The values, principles, teaching techniques and knowledge base have been discerned from a critical analysis of the yoga tradition and frontier sciences. They constitute an integral whole and have a veracity that is essential in the field of health care.
The Subtle Yoga RYT500 Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training Program weaves the knowledge base of public and behavioral health and other professions into yoga philosophy and practice thereby creating a transdisciplinary and holistic health framework. This weaving involves learning from a continuum of vantage points – instinctual, intellectual, intuitional, and ultimately, inspirational – the knowing which comes from the compassionate openness and surrender of the heart.
This program is for anyone who has already completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training (Subtle Yoga Training or another) and wishes to pursue RYT500 status.
Course description and curriculum
In this time of uncertainty, it has become increasingly clear that the world needs yoga teachers who possess a deep self-knowledge and radiate a commitment to service. During this program you will unveil the depths of your spirit in order to authentically hold and transmit this ancient wisdom tradition and help your community learn to use yoga to better their lives.
The Subtle Yoga RYT500 Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training Program is also a co-creative project of scientific inquiry that posits and develops models of transformation for students/clients and for you personally. This project is the mapping of the journey towards “union” and it involves progressive integration of transformational learning from a continuum of vantage points – instinctual, intellectual, intuitional and devotional.

Letters from our grads
“This program is a journey that opens the heart and empowers the spirit, appealing to our highest good. My understanding of myself has deepened and my sensibilities of what it means to be human on this planet at this time in history have taken on new perspectives. I have felt so inspired by the joy, wisdom, love and integrity Kaoverii has brought to this program, and my hope is to share yoga’s many benefits with others in the same compassionate, wise, fearless manner.”
-Kirsten Walz
“…what really sets the Subtle Yoga program apart is the people. Kaoverii Weber and Sam Noto are the lifeblood of the Subtle Yoga program; they bring with them many years of experience and hearts big enough to always fill the room with love. They have laid out the program in such a way that it was never overwhelming and yet as each weekend drew to a close I would suddenly realize how much of their knowledge was transferred in our seemingly short time together. They were always available to meet with each of us to work through any difficulties that arose with the material or our lives. They truly and deeply care for their students. As I mentioned the people made the difference and that did not stop with the program directors. The students drawn to this program are as great a group of people as you could find anywhere. I loved the way that Kaoverii and Sam used graduates from last year’s program throughout the training which benefited them giving extra opportunities to expand their skills and benefited us as role models of what we would become. I must also mention that my fellow students were also my teachers as I was able to learn much from the varied backgrounds and ideas they brought to our group. In the end, we left as members of a family, a spiritual family, a sanga, if you will.
If you are reading this you may be seeking a program that will offer you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others; I can say with all certainty you have found a home. I hope to see you soon.”
